North Star Productions and it's subsidiaries provide web designs to a large number of clients. We have a responsibility to protect each client and provide the best services available. The following guidelines have been established to insure this intent is met.

Web Sites E-commerce or Private:

All web sites are individually unique.
Therefore cost will be based on the type and size of the site.
This will be done on an individual contract
agreed to at the time the web site is created.

Redesigning Web Sites:

All web sites are individually unique.
Therefore cost will be based on the type and size of the site.
This will be done on a new individual contract
agreed to at the time the web site is redesigned.

Web Site Updates:

We will once a year update your site for free.
This will be done on the New Year or as near to it as time permits.
This update is limited to dates and copyrights.
All other updates will be done for a fee of $20.00 per update.

Travel Expenses:

If we travel to your location to take photos, discuss terms for the web site or for any other reason, a fee will be charged for the fuel used. This will be based on the current fuel prices and the distance traveled. This fee is charged regardless if you sign on or not and is not refundable.

Web Site Backups:

We perform periodic backup of critical system files for emergency purposes. Clients should not rely on us to backup for them. Clients are advised to backup all of their own files to their local drives. We are NOT responsible for lost data, time, income or any other resource due to hardware failure, faulty backups or non-existent backups.

We do offer to backup your site to a CD and mail (USPS) it to you.
The fee for this is $25.00 plus S & H. Click here to purchase.

Technical Support:

We do not charge for Support of our web sites.

Third Party Fees

Currently Third Party Fees refer to but are not limited to:

Under no circumstances will North Star Productions and/or it's subsidiaries be held responsible for any failure of these Third Parties. Use of Logos, Trademarks And Brand Names At This Web Site Does Not Imply Endorsement By Or Association With The Owner Companies. Trademarks and Brand Names Are The Rightful Property Of Their Owners. It is the responsibility of the web site owner to maintain any Third Party Fees associated with their web site.

Miscellaneous Costs:

We will negotiate additional costs not covered
here individually with each web site owner.

Problem Solving:

Should there be any problems with your web site we will repair them at no cost to you and as soon as time allows. However should you have problems with any Third Party, such as your Dot Com, Guest Book, Tripod© ad removal or E-mail Mailing List and you request us to repair it there will be a $25.00 fee for this service.

Refusal of Service:

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE, CANCEL, OR SUSPEND SERVICE AT OUR SOLE DISCRETION. IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE OUR SERVICES OR ANY CONTENT THEREON. THIS DISCLAIMER APPLIES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, TO ANY DAMAGES OR INJURY, WHETHER FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, CAUSED BY ANY FAILURE OF PERFORMANCE; ERROR; OMISSION; INTERRUPTION; DELETION; DEFECT; DELAY IN OPERATION OR TRANSMISSION; COMPUTER VIRUS; FILE CORRUPTION; COMMUNICATION-LINE FAILURE; NETWORK OR SYSTEM OUTAGE; OR THEFT, DESTRUCTION, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO, ALTERATION OF, OR USE OF ANY RECORD.
